How to Install Mighty Line Floor Tape

Mighty Line floor tape uses a pressure-sensitive adhesive for peel-and-stick installation on a properly prepared surface. Clean and dry the floor, measure the installation area, cut the tape, remove the backing and press the tape firmly into place.

The removable adhesive is designed to provide immediate contact while allowing the tape to be removed with minimal residue. Results may vary based on the floor surface, installation conditions and length of use.

Follow These Mighty Line Tape Installation Steps

1. Clean and Dry the Floor

Remove dirt, dust, grease, moisture and other material that could interfere with adhesion. Allow the surface to dry completely before applying the tape.

2. Measure and Cut the Tape

Measure the aisle, lane or work area before cutting. Create guide marks when installing long sections to help keep the floor tape straight.

3. Peel Away the Adhesive Backing

Start peeling the liner from one end. For longer sections, remove the backing gradually as the tape is applied instead of peeling it off all at once.

4. Apply the Tape

Position the tape along your guide marks and lower it smoothly onto the floor. Avoid wrinkles, unnecessary overlaps and gaps between sections.

5. Press Firmly and Inspect the Installation

Apply firm, even pressure across the full strip, including its edges and ends. Inspect the completed installation to confirm that the tape is securely attached.
